HONG KONG, 25 June 2019 – Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, is proud to announce that it has won the Best Investing Product/Strategy and Best Insurance Advisory/Consultancy categories at this year's Institutional Asset Management Awards organised by InsuranceAsia News. The awards reflect Willis Towers Watson (WTW)'s ability to provide clients across Asia with unique, innovative and effective investment solutions that create sustainable competitive advantage in their portfolios.
For the Best Investment Product/Strategy award, WTW’s delegated investment solutions won this category. Judges noted the company’s Global Equity Focus Fund (GEFF), an offshore multi-manager equity solution that provides Asian institutional investors access to the world’s best equity ideas at a competitive fee. The judges were also impressed by WTW’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer model, which has already helped one of the company’s clients innovate by becoming the first fully delegated pension fund in Hong Kong.
In the Best Insurance Advisory/Consultancy Firm category, WTW was recognised for its deep insurance sector expertise and experience in providing advisory services and solutions to insurance companies across risk, capital, people and operational matters. This is also supported by the company’s proprietary modelling and technology.
Commenting on the awards, Jayne Bok, Head of Investments, Asia, at Willis Towers Watson, said “We’re deeply honoured to receive these awards from InsuranceAsia News.
