ARLINGTON, VA, July 13 — WTW (Willis Towers Watson, NASDAQ: WTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, today announced that Hector Martinez will lead Latin America, in addition to his role leading Corporate Risk and Broking for the region. Luis Maurette, current head of Latin America and head of global sales and client management, will retire on December 31, 2022.
Martinez has over 20 years of professional experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector. Since joining the company in September 2001, he has served in various leadership roles at WTW and its predecessor companies, including executive director of Willis Limited, CEO at Willis Colombia Corredores de Seguros S.A., head of Colombia and head of Latin America Corporate Risk and Broking.

Maurette will work with Martinez, and the three WTW geography leaders Anne Pullum (Europe), Imran Qureshi (North America), and Pamela Thomson-Hall (International) to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities prior to his retirement.
