ZURICH, 1 October 2020 – After 35 years with the company and 23 years as Managing Director Willis Towers Watson Switzerland, John Anthony is going into well-earned retirement. "We would like to thank John Anthony for his many years of commitment. Under his leadership we have been able to continuously expand and successfully develop our business in Switzerland," says Anne Pullum, Head of Western Europe Willis Towers Watson.
Stephan Wildner will succeed him as of October 1, 2020, in addition to his existing responsibilities and will head the Swiss business of Willis Towers Watson. He joined the company in 2005 and has been Head of Pension Fund Advisory and Investment in Switzerland since March 2017. "Stephan Wildner has a strong track record in various management and client functions. He knows the Swiss business very well and has made a significant contribution to its successful development in recent years. We look forward to continuing to count on his expertise in this new role," said Reiner Schwinger, Head of the Northern Europe Region Willis Towers Watson, commenting on the appointment.
Stephan Wildner has been with Willis Towers Watson for 15 years. Before moving to Switzerland in March 2017 as Director of Retirement Services, he was a member of the Retirement Leadership Team in Germany, where he was responsible for General Consulting, Financing Institutions and Markets & Clients. Stephan Wildner is a member of the Retirement Western European Governance Group of Willis Towers Watson.
His specialist expertise includes questions of financing, governance and risk management in the field of occupational pension schemes.
