As part of the Department for Education's Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA), Willis Towers Watson provides risk management services to all RPA members. Part of this includes delivering workshops in areas where we feel additional support and guidance is most needed. Workshops are free to attend for RPA members, they are interactive and undertaken by a specialist in the subject matter being covered. They are also an opportunity for members to share best practice and raise any issues they may have.
Due to the current pandemic future workshops will be delivered through webinar sessions. We will deliver face-to-face workshops throughout the country as soon as it is safe to do so.
Other services offered to RPA members by Willis Towers Watson include:
- Onsite or virtual audits covering a range of risk management issues
- Risk management portal, including guidance, support and best practice examples
- Quarterly risk management survey, including an opportunity for RPA members to express preferences for future workshops and support
- A cover helpdesk providing advice on the cover provided by the RPA (RPAAdvice@willistowerswatsonsecure.com or 0117 9769 361)

In depth risk management audits are not a requirement of membership, but are free. The audits are designed to be supportive with the aim of not only reducing civil claims but also the risk of criminal prosecution.
