London, April 25, 2023 – WTW has selected Children with Cancer UK as its new charity partner for the next two years, voted for by more than 2000 colleagues across WTW’s UK offices.
Determined by a thorough selection process, Children with Cancer UK was elected from a final shortlist of three charities as a clear winner, due to the charity’s emphasis on research and support for children and families fighting cancer.
It is a cause close to many hearts at WTW, with employees hoping to contribute to making a real difference in the lives of children and their families affected by childhood cancer.
As part of the partnership launch, Cliff O’Gorman, founder of Children with Cancer UK, will be holding an introduction and question and answer session at one of WTW’s largest UK offices, so that colleagues can learn more about the charity and its fundraising opportunities.
John Ball, Head of Great Britain at WTW says “Following a rigorous shortlisting process, conducted by our UK CSR committee, we invited our UK colleagues to select a charity partner that they feel passionate about and that resonates with them. Children with Cancer UK received a landslide vote.
“We are absolutely delighted to work with Children with Cancer UK… I know this is a cause close to many of our hearts. We are looking forward to supporting children and families through the work that is done by the charity.”
