Asset Liability Suite - Our Team

Timon is a Director at WTW, with broad experience advising both trustee and corporate clients on a range of pensions issues. Timon has experience with pension schemes of very different sizes and of differing maturity, and also provides regulated investment advice to our clients. As Business Owner for Asset Liability Suite, Timon is involved in all aspects of this software identifying ways in which Asset Liability Suite can best meet the evolving needs of our clients and their consultants and enhancing your experience as user. Alex graduated with a first class BSc degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London and is a qualified actuary since 2012.

Nicola is a leading UK Corporate Consultant at WTW, specialising in advising corporate clients on pension strategy, funding, investment, risk management issues and accounting. Nicola also acts as corporate consulting lead for our Reigate office. Recognising the importance of efficient and effective delivery of key decision-ready information to corporate clients, Nicola took up an active role in the development and evolution of Asset Liability Suite shortly after its inception. Nicola joined WTW in 2000 and prior to her corporate-focused roles, Nicola spent many years advising UK trustee boards. She holds a degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a qualified actuary.

Alasdair currently acts as Chief Investment Officer of WTW’s UK Investment Advisory business, having previously managed our investment strategy team for three years. In his current role, he is responsible for all of our intellectual capital around investment strategy and risk management. Alasdair was instrumental in the design of the WTW asset model when he first joined in 1999 and remains a key member of the Investment Assumptions Committee which oversees the calibration of the model. Alasdair acts as the strategic investment advisor for a number of large UK and Euro-zone pension funds in addition to carrying out project work for insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds. Alasdair graduated with a mathematics degree from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Chris acts as WTW’s Accounting Module (Channel) Technical Expert with responsibility for training and assisting a network of professionals in the UK to set up the software and resolve any issues. He has been involved with the Asset Liability Suite software since the start of 2013, when he was involved with the development and roll-out of the Accounting Module for the UK market. Chris has been working at WTW since 2008 as a consultant in the retirement business. His experience covers DB funding and investment work as well as other software related roles. Chris graduated with a first class Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree in Mathematics from the University of Liverpool in 2007.

Martin acts as a Technical Expert for WTW’s trustee and corporate clients using Asset Liability Suite. Martin qualified as an actuary in 2010, and has a background in consulting for large DB pension schemes. His varied experience includes funding valuations, accounting under international accounting standards and liability management projects, including settlement. Asset Liability Suite lies at the heart of this work, and Martin helps our clients develop and implement their pension strategies using the software. Martin graduated with a first class (Hons) Mathematics degree from the University of Warwick.

Tom is a senior member of the Strategic Investment Modelling Solutions team at WTW and specialises in designing and delivering investment and risk modelling and monitoring solutions for pension funds and other institutional investors. In his role, Tom has played a key part in developing the Risk and Modeller Modules in Asset Liability Suite. Tom started his actuarial career at WTW in 2001 in the pension and benefits consulting team, before becoming an investment consultant in 2008, advising pension schemes on investment strategy and later specialising in the design and delivery of software modelling solutions. Tom graduated with a Master of Physics degree from Sheffield University.

As national Sales and Marketing Lead for Asset Liability Suite, Katie works closely with our clients and their consultants to develop effective monitoring solutions, bringing to life the delivery of their key strategic objectives. Katie qualified as an actuary in 2016, and is also an active consultant supporting DB pension schemes that range in size from £30m to £10bn. Her experience includes funding support, journey planning, investment strategy and accounting under international accounting standards. Katie graduated with a first class Masters of Physics (MPhys) degree from the University of Durham.
