HONG KONG, February 1, 2021 – Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced the appointment of Sean Deehan as Market Leader in Hong Kong for its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. Sean reports to Lingde Hong, Divisional Leader, Greater China, Insurance Consulting and Technology, in Willis Towers Watson.
In this role, Sean is responsible for developing and growing the ICT business in Hong Kong. The ICT business provides advisory services integrated with technology solutions and software, underpinned by analytical capability, to insurers globally across four main areas, including risk and capital management, strategy and growth, technology, and operational effectiveness and profitability.

Sean brings with him more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, he served as CEO for Standard Life Asia, Hong Kong, and was also the Integration Director for leading the transaction on the sale of Standard Life Asia to Heng An Standard Life Insurance Company. Sean also served as the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer where he led the strategy, business development, product development and investment proposition teams in Standard Life Asia.
Sean first moved to Asia from the UK in 2012, when he relocated to China for a three-year assignment with Standard Life’s JV business Heng An Standard Life, Tianjin, China, as Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer.
