The WTW Transport Practice provides a range of services to all aspects of transport as follows:
Commercial vehicles
Fleets of all sizes, both in the private and commercial arena, including haulage, can be insured in a number of markets domestically for a full range of cover to protect the vehicle and the goods that it is carrying.
Aircraft
Within Ireland there are two main aircraft operators, Aer Lingus and Ryanair, and these provide a daily service to and from Ireland to European and U.S. destinations and hubs servicing worldwide travel. Specialist markets for aircraft, hull and liability exposures are available to WTW and the specialist London team who access the global markets.
Ferries
WTW is the leading insurance advisor to port authorities in Ireland who service ferry companies operating between Ireland and the UK and Europe. In addition, international vessels provide a service to and from the Irish ports on a regular basis. WTW is familiar with the placement of all insurance requirements for port operators, ferry companies and shipping agents who service the needs of individuals and group companies alike.
Public transport
Whether it be by train, Luas, coach or bus, WTW has arranged the insurance requirements for both public and private operators.
