Pension index increased in September
The WTW Pension Index increased again in September 2023 after a slight decrease last month, reaching its highest level in over 20 years. Reductions in liabilities due to increases in discount rates were somewhat offset by negative investment returns, bringing the September 30, 2023 index level to 109.4, an increase of 1.4% over the month.
