The WTW Pension Index continued to increase in October 2023, once again reaching its highest level since mid-2001. Reductions in liabilities as a result of further increases in discount rates were slightly offset by negative investment returns, raising the October 31, 2023 index level to 110.5, an increase of 1.1% for the month.
