A personal lines pricing actuary by background, in his 33 years with WTW, Duncan has had a keen interest in developing specialist insurance software. He has consulted with most multinational groups and clients in over 30 countries.
His professional activities include:
- Chairing the UK Institute of Actuaries General Insurance Board.
- Co-authoring “A Practitioner's Guide to Generalized Linear Models.”
- Presenting over 30 sessions at Casualty Actuarial Society events.
Duncan is a graduate in mathematics from Cambridge University and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Charlie is passionate about digital transformation and works with insurers to create automated, insightful, and data-driven solutions incorporating WTW technology. Charlie has spent most of his career working with insurers and distribution partners to deliver innovative and impactful solutions across the insurance value chain.
Charlie holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University.
Before joining WTW, Taffy Jo was the North America Head of Commercial & Specialty Insurance Underwriting Transformation and Automation at EY, the founding leader for the technology and business consulting synergies practice. Before moving to EY, Taffy Jo was an executive at Zurich North America, where she served in senior leadership roles for P&C Underwriting, Commercial Insurance Sales and Distribution, Technical and Underwriting Quality Assurance, Risk & Control, Operational Transformation, Business Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Value Proposition Creation, and Change Management.
With over 25 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance carriers, Taffy Jo is a recognized industry thought leader for insurance innovation, digital transformation, data enablement, the Future of Underwriting, carrier operations, employee engagement, and DEI&B.
Lindsey has worked for Liberty Mutual since 2010 and held various roles across business units, including leading global infrastructure initiatives and starting the international public cloud delivery team, before moving into GRS Tech in 2019. He led a turnaround for the GRS Tech Property Underwriting department, supporting significant growth and profitability through efficiencies and sophistication. In April 2021, Lindsey started building the Global Distribution Technology organization, which focused on delivering Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, and Omnichannel Distribution digital capabilities to GRS. In August 2022, Lindsey took on the leading Global Underwriting & Policy Tech role. He has transformed the organization to be centered on digital products that align with the underwriting value chain while retaining an acute focus on our insurance products and underwriting segments, balancing global delivery with local market-specific demand.
Lindsey graduated from Boston College and now resides in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with his wife, 2-year-old daughter, and 1-month-old son. They enjoy spending time outside in all seasons throughout the year.
He believes the insurance industry is a great place to be right now! While some large insurers are still lagging on a digital journey, those keeping up with investments in technology and skills are forging forward. However, AI has the potential to level the field. Those insurers who lagged behind can now quickly catch up with the help of AI.
On a personal note, Chetan lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two boys. He is also a mindfulness and breathwork instructor, and loves kayaking and hiking on weekends.
