AdWrap: Comprehensive advertising insurance for cost and coverage benefits

AdWrap is an insurance solution for marketing, advertising and promotional content production, offering cost and coverage benefits. Ideal for clients spending over $10 million annually.

Why AdWrap?

AdWrap is a master-controlled insurance program designed to meet the production insurance needs of clients and their contracted production vendors when creating marketing, advertising and promotional content. This program can be tailored to include events, promotions and other related activities, making it a one-stop insurance shop for all marketing and advertising risks.

Unlike traditional insurance solutions, which are often marked up by production vendors, AdWrap ensures you pay only for the coverage and premiums that reflect your own risks and claims record. This provides a more cost-effective and transparent solution.

Yes. We often see other risk requirements such as photographic weather, death and disgrace, non-owned aviation liability (drones), or event cancellation and liability. These additional covers can be incorporated into a program, usually on an ad hoc basis, or where the need exists, on an annual basis.

No. AdWrap is designed to be purchased annually for multi-production activities. This increases the efficiency of the AdWrap in relation to coverage and pricing.

We have a brief application that can be completed, but we can also provide indicative pricing and coverage with the following information:

  • Estimated annual content production spend
  • Type of productions produced (e.g., live-action, stills, digital)
  • Average production budget and the largest in the past three years
  • Any known claims data for the past three years
We offer multiple financing solutions and will tailor our offerings to your preferred finance requirements. Commonly, programs are paid for on a per-project basis, with an estimated minimum deposit premium, monthly/quarterly, or upfront annual premium.

The AdWrap market includes many U.S. A-rated insurers that actively write these programs. We also have access to the London market for additional support as and when required.

Yes. One of the key benefits of the WTW service solution is that we can provide a global solution, consisting of global insurers and programs or localized policies in key territories. Local legal and country compliance may require certain solutions, but a global AdWrap solution is available to you.

Once cover has been confirmed, claim amounts are usually paid directly to the claimant, and traditional property losses are settled as soon as supporting information is available. For Extra Expense and Contingent losses, where loss amounts are usually higher and more complex, loss adjusters are often appointed to assist in supporting and auditing any loss. These claims are settled once additional filming is carried out following the loss, and settlements are based on actual additional costs incurred, so claim settlement timing will vary based on the specifics of a claim.
